    Some of you yanke....Northern folks, see if you can get some shots of the Auroras tonight. Noaa is predicting a strong light show as far south as KY.

    I saw it back when I was in ND in the 80s. What got me was the sound. Freaky.

    I live about a quarter mile from the Cuyahoga River, outside Akron OH. We have a great parks system here which I try to take frequent advantage of.

    I know this may not be exciting to 99.9% of everyone here. But I transplanted (native) milkweed from from rough areas last year with my then 7/5 year old boys to our yard. They rooted and grew very well. We have spotted two monarch caterpillars as of today in one area of the yard

    It started on the outskirts of Chico and is already burnt all the way to the Red bluff area on the east side of Hwy 99. Over 160,000 acres in less than 3 days. Some jackass started it by setting his mom's car on fire and pushed it into the brush.

    keep them! Looks great. We have about 5 diff patches of milkweed around the yard right now. I started some of another variety from seed a few years back and the pollinators love it
