How to install 2nd hand Thule rack to 06 DC

Hey Folks. I just bought a 2nd hand Thule rack from a guy selling his 05 DC, So I know I have all the right parts. Bars, towers, feet, etc.

However I struggling to properly install it. When I do, it compresses the weatherstripping a lot in the door liner. And as a result, the doors don't seem to close properly, and when it rains, water drips in. So I am convinced I am installing it wrong. Either too tight, feet/towers not in the right position.

Im not seeing many posts on this topic across the site. And thule doesnt support first gen tundras as anymore. And I can't buy new parts nor get any directions.

Looking for any advice or resources to install in properly and to keep it on the truck.

Pic of your install? My BIL installed some bars on a work Tundra he had, the clamps did not contact any weatherstripping in the door frame during install. The weatherstripping on the door itself sealed well against it.
