Anyone else notice this? Yes it’s clean! Looking closely it appears there are two panes to the windshield. It seems as if that distorts the view. Maybe it’s from that holographic speedometer display nonsense I have turned off? It’s not significant, but definitely there. Visible when reading road signs or anything showing detail. Looks like looking through a slightly out of focus lens. Really gets old on long drives.

Is that the holographic image stuff in the windshield? Yes, I have that turned off.

I hate it. Any idea of what might be involved in replacing it with a normal windshield?

Will do at oil change time. Surprised more people don’t complain about this. That HUD thing is absurd! Who would want that in the first place? And if you turn it off your other option is like peering through Coke bottle glasses. Lame.

I do! Wish I had one. Too bad it's not practical for us to trade parts. :D

Ok. What am I missing? Why do guys like that hologram in the middle of their view?
Does that deal need focusing or tuning of sorts? Maybe mine is out of whack?

Haven’t heard many people complain about the HUD. That’s a pretty big feature to get on your truck, just to turn it off.

Just a FYI....it's not in the middle of your view. I don't even notice it unless I make a point of looking for it

OK. I just went out and started the truck up and turned the HUD back on. The display is blurry too. I can read the big numbers, but the smaller letters like in “speed limit “and MPH, or “eco” are rather blurry. If I didn’t already know what they said, there’s no way I could read it. And I do not have poor vision. Jacked up?

I tried to get a pic, and it shows as this strange flashing light. Not possible apparently.

I have this same exact problem on my brand new tundra. I don’t have the HUD so I don’t that has anything to do with it. This should be covered under warranty. I will find out. It’s stupid annoying.
