Puddle Lights

Hey everyone, I have a 24 SR5 that didn't come with the puddle lights in the door, just the reflectors. I bought a set of puddle lights from MVP Customs Shop and they came with the wiring harness to make them work. After getting the door off, I couldn't figure out where/how to tap the wire harness in so that the lights turn on when the door is opened. I reached out to the company and their exact words were "take it to a professional." Obviously that isn't super helpful or the best customer service, but I digress.

There isn't anyone in my area that does custom lighting or work really, and I figure if I reach out to Toyota, they're just going to tell me that it can't be done. Has anyone installed the puddle lights or could give me some guidance/help on this before I fight the battle of trying to return them?
