I have this trifold tounneau cover that was factory, I have the bed rails, and the tounneau appears can only be used with those rain gutter channel thingies. The brackets holding the deck rails appear to attach to the bed as well as those gutter channels.

Does anyone know of a bar or rack setup that would work with this? It feels like my only other option is a different tounneau cover but I really don’t want to have to buy a new cover, then bars or rack, then RTT.

Thanks ahead of time, guys. Best forum on the web.

I attempted to pick up some used HiRise bars from KB Voodoo, and they just didn’t seem to work. Bummer, as I loved the idea of easily removable bars for when I didn’t need them. The guy had the no drill brackets, but the tower pieces that are at each end of the bar and attach to the truck would have to somehow fit under the channels, and that would then not only create a sizable gap that would allow rain in, but also probably shift the channels too much that the cover then wouldn’t fit where they sit inside of those channels. I’m thinking I have to choose to stick with the cover, or ditch it for another option.

Unfortunately there is no magic bullet.

We have many rack and crossbar options for you, but the brackets need to fit between the cover and the truck, which will create a gap.

The best possible option is our VRS product line. The Voodoo Rail is one continuous piece, so it will seal better than the other options.
