Hello people, I’m new to this. Recently I’ve been hearing a rattle/vibration sound coming from behind the passenger glove box area towards the center console area. I took the glove box out to try and locate it but no luck. Had my wife drive it while I was looking inside and still couldn’t find it but the noise is still there and very annoying. If anyone can help me out, I’m all ears. Thank you. I posted the sound on YouTube bc it doesn’t let me upload it here. Hopefully y’all will be able to see it.

I had a similar sound. Does it go away as the truck warms up? In my case, it was the heater tubes behind the glove box. If you remove the kick plate from under the glove box, and then take the air filter cover off in the glove box, you should be able to see them. They are two silver tubes, and they get very hot if the heating system is on. In my case, at certain RPM's, when the tubes were room temperature or cold, they would vibrate and sound like that. When they warmed up, the sound went away. I fixed the issue by wrapping a heat stabilized zip tie (purchased from Amazon) around them somewhat tightly. This held the tubes still and stopped them from vibrating. Hope this helps.

    Too many, but not enough....
Check the passenger side firewall behind the last cylinder in the engine bay. There is a bracket with a harness connected to it. It rattled sometimes.
