Not sure if this is going to the right place, but it has to do with the remote start. I have a 2021 Tundra - as soon as the free trial of connected services ended, the remote start didn't work. According to Toyota - this is a "feature" not a "bug". CRAP. A remote start did not need to be connected to the internet 30 years ago - and they could be bought at auto parts stores (OK I skip inflation) for less than a year of connected services. This is not right. We pay for the whole truck and the hardware to make it start remotely is IN THE TRUCK. To remove access to something we paid for is nearly theft in my opinion. Pull your heads out of your backside and cancel your connected services. I get that people want it for traffic and to monitor vehicle stats - fair enough, but next Toyota will be renting you your AC or seat heaters, or various engine modes run by the ECM. The only way to stop this digital rot is to stop using it - it is piracy.

As a side note, we have connected services in another vehicle (not Toyo). In the NAV system, sometimes the system searches for five or ten minutes and fails to find a route, and then looks for another route and after you've arrived using your phone, it offers you the option to use the onboard data. Useless and I'm going to that forum next.

The European manufacturers started this crap. BMW wants subscriptions for their heated seats! I agree with you.
My 2010 is the newest vehicle I've ever owned, the only way to get response is to find the highest person in Toyota
you can and send emails. Best of luck! I mean it!

If you have the push button start, then you still have remote start, regardless if you have stopped connected services.

And every native navigation software I have ever used, sucks and I do not understand why people use them over Google maps, Waze etc...
