    See there? I don't know the rules yet. I am sure the question has been asked previously. That is, how does one wire the Toyota truck for a battery charger to charge the RV trailer battery while pulling down the road? I'm an old guy, in the Northwest. I would appreciate help to get started. I hope I don't get in your way. Thanks for the invitation.

    What kind of RV trailer is this? Most RV trailers charge when the tow vehicle is running and hooked up to the 7 pin connector.

    Welcome to the site!
    I’m in the Pacific Northwet myself.
    A couple things that would help here:
    What year is the truck, and what cab configuration and trim package if you know. That can help us get closer to the answer, since some come with a towing package that is prewired for a full 7-pin trailer hookup.

    Both of which might get a little more traction for a response. I might lean toward the towing one to post up the question, but either one kind of fits your situation.
