His truck has a carb?

 

Yesterday he was asking about low carb food options along his route. And because I'm a cynical sarcastic smart ass, my first thought was that because Cracker Barrel has a carb in the name of its business, it probably isn't very carb friendly.

Taco Bell is better than cracker barrel and I don't like Taco Bell very much.

Really? I have never eaten at the mythical Cracker Barrel. I guess thanks for saving me!

 

The first hint should have been when I walked in. Everyone appeared to be 65 or older. At least the one here in CDA.

 

Nor have I. Don't think we're missing much.

 

Cracker Barrel used to be ok years ago.
When they lowered prices for 'meal deals', or whatever to get more people in, the quality of the food went way down.
So the quality of the partons..

I won't eat there, it now tastes like buffet food and affects my stomach the same way.
My wife will go every once in a while if she is out and about.
But she will also go to Furrs cafeteria sometimes..

 

That's just crazy talk. I haven't even seen a Furrs in decades. I thought for sure that they were long gone.
