Im going to drive with the Toyota tech today so any information would be appreciated.

At highway speeds there is front left wheel vibration.

    Could be this :

    Improperly Balanced Driveshaft
    - There have more than a few reports of this
    - Feels like a shutter while driving
    - Non-Hybrid & Hybrid effected

    Not sure

The first step will be ruling out an improperly balanced wheel or wheels. I found it didn't take much dirt buildup to take my wheels out of balance.

The tech will take it on the highway today . They rebalanced the left tire . Im starting to wonder if its the toyota winter rim/tires because I cant recall this issue with the platinum rims/ all seasons

Could be. I have to have the wheels re-rebalanced every time I swap tires.

Did you ever figure this out? Just bought a new SR5 sport and I feel a very light shutter or shimmy in the steering wheel (at least that’s where I feel the vibration) at highway speeds… also I’ve noticed if I am sitting in park at idle or just in drive with my foot on the brake idling, the rpm ever so slightly rises every few seconds and you can feel it and see the gauge increasing. I thought I noticed that same feeling while also driving on the highway but couldn’t see the rpm needle moving. Not sure if anyone flies airplanes but it reminded me of props being out of sync, it sounded like that. Probably a bad description.

The situation where rpm slightly raises and drops during idle has been noted by multiple members, without any resolution. It's very likely that it's dual injection is doing its thing and cleaning the injectors etc... Should be normal

I kinda get a vibration in 9-10 gears going down the interstate. It’s not bad but you can notice it. More in the floor then the wheel tho.

I had it bad with Cooper AT4 tires but it went away with Michelin all season tires (275/60-20 size on both)
