Replaced rear axle u joint at about 160k miles. Couple of days ago, started hearing a real bad squeak coming from under the truck when accelerating from idle.

Some issues I've been hearing is a "thud" when letting off the brake from standstill and letting the truck idle forward. I figured out a different knock a few months ago that was definitely the tranny crossmember bolts being loose (one was missing). Replaced and tightened those. So, not sure why I'd be feeling this sort of thud now. It was different from the "knock" that was occurring from the loose crossmember bolts.

I can feel a semi aggressive shake when accelerating from idle, really at about the 5-10 mph range, then it fades once I increase speed. When I have weight in my bed (mulch, sand), the shake is definitely more aggressive/intense but again, fades above 10 mph. I feel minimal driveline vibrations when driving at fullspeed, but it may be more than what it should be and I'm just used to it at this point.

I know the squeaky u joint can be replaced, but before I do so, could the other two issues be driveshaft related? Wanted to get some opinions before I replace the u joint and potentially need to replace the entire driveshaft.

    Thanks for the help

Sounds like classic bad u-joint symptoms. Have you checked for play at the u-joints?

Fix the u-joint problem and stop overthinking it. Re-asses if symptoms continue after replacing u-joints. I recommend going with a Spicer unit that's zerk'd, rather than fully sealed. Just know, if you do, you'll need to be prepared to grease it. If not, go with OEM sealed replacements.
