Hey everyone, I have a 2008 Sequoia and I recently bought the new LED style Sequoia headlights. Looking for the plug-in play wiring harness but it is my understanding that Xrunnerdude67 may no longer be providing. Anyone else know where I can get the plug and plat harness?

The sucks. Send them back and get Vlands. Just as good. Some have said better, like the V2s

Have y'all tried contacting @iHacker and see if he can help you?
Not sure if he makes them for the Sequoia.
    Can't hurt to ask.

If you guys are somewhat mechanically inclined the harness isn't hard to make.

I stopped by my local junk yard (pick-n-pull) and removed the headlight pigtails from a 2005+ Subaru Tribeca (some other make and models may have an interchangeable part). The connectors are identical to the 2018+ Sequoia. Total cost was $3 for both sides.

There is a pdf file on these forums of the wiring diagram, it's pretty easy to follow.

    Tools required:
    electrical tape
    wire terminal pin removal tool
    soldering iron
    wire cutters
    waterproof wire shrink tubing
    fuse tap wire

All of these can be had for under $25

I wish I was, but I am probably the least mechanically inclined person on this forum haha

I know this is old. However, I'm currently making plug and plays for the 2018-22 LEDs for my 08 sequoia limited. I could make some more harnesses. They would be about $150 + shipping at current pricing. You just have to decide whether or not you want the Bright DRLs or the Dim DRLs I'm not offering anything fancier at the moment and maybe not at all. The only way to really save on cost of harnesses is to make 25+.

Are you still making the harness? I recently bought a 2016 Sequoia and would like to do the 2018 headlight conversion. It's a Platinum if that matters. Would like to send some business your way:thumbsup:
    Thanks

I made mine already. As mentioned, I can make them. It's is not my job or even a side gig, just something to help others out. It is a matter of parts availability and cost, whether I use actual Sumitomo and Metripack connectors or the cheaper ones. Full Sumitomo and Metripack harnesses are more expensive due to connector cost. The price on connectors only goes down when you bulk buy.

Anyway, I did a write up on iH8Mud on the wiring setup and part numbers. All you would need other than the connectors and some wire would be wire strippers and a Metripack crimpers...you can get one for <$20
