Hi. I hear a ticking noise when engine is cold. 2020 Tundra It has done this since brand new. Anyone else experience this?

Same with my 2020. 5w30 helped a bit but it won’t go away completely.

If a Toyota truck engine isn't ticking, then it isn't running. Every Toyota pickup I've ever owned has had a ticking of some kind. Nature of the beast.

Thanks all! Just wanted to make sure it was not a problem. My friend’s Titan does the same thing

Wish I hadn't opened this thread. Tick never bothered me because I never noticed it. Now I'll be listening for it.

An all Aluminum engine with two huge chains spinning furiously around up front makes lots of Ticky noises and its completely normal. That's how I explain it to myself and sleep well at night. :)
