I have 2006 Tundra and I purchased the Freedom off-road arms when on sale. I am wondering if anyone has information on what the thread size and pitch is for the ball joint?

General consensus are their mediocre arms from a garbage company. I remember a bunch of people on here weren’t happy with them, and lukewarm on the product.

Do you have the UBJ in hand? All local Ace Hardware stores I’ve been in have a thread gauge (I have my own, cheap enough to buy), and I’d their gauge in the nuts/bolts section doesn’t go high enough you could always hit the blunts section until you find the right size.

I do not have them in hand, on truck. I didn't know if someone has switched to a castle nut by chance or used the nylock nut it came with. Just trying to run to the store to get one

I only know off-hand of one person running them for sure, @bmf4069 I believe. I’d tell you to call Freedom and ask them but after what others experienced it may be a lost cause. Still, I’d try! You bought their product, they should support it.

That said, is their balljoint spindle drilled for a cotter? If it is, I’d stick with castle.

They messaged me back and it's an M14x1.5 but yes it's drilled for a cotter but comes with a nylock

I’ve been running them on mine they’ve been all good I used the nylock nut no issues so far. You may need to grease the ball joint though even though they say they come pre greased.
