    Too many mods to come

Yep we also had this issue. The loctite is no joke I'd reach out to them and I'm sure they'll assist.

Didn't have a chance to watch the video yet. Have you measured the current draw? My 4 HF ones pull 50A on high. Curious how is that with LP6s

I have not measured the current drawn, however, on the user manual, it is asking for 14 gauge wire for single light, and 12 gauge wire for double light duties, which is identical to what LP6's user manual suggests.

BD warranty and service is 100% top notch. Just got my 30” OnX6 back and she looks brand new again. BTW, it’s a 7 year old light bar that gets used regularly. From what I can tell, about the only original part is the aluminum housing now. Looks like it got all new innards, new emitters, lenses, bezels, wiring, and God knows what else.

It was all in great shape when I sent it in, it was just shutting off intermittently. Like it had a lose wire inside. But, she’s a whole new beast now!

The HF option is decent but really looks far too similar to the BD. They could have made their own unique design. I didn't want to pay new BD prices so I bought mine used for far cheaper but still same great quality and customer support. I won't buy any other light personally and would buy them new now. They really are a "you get what you pay for" type of product.

Close to the same support. You will have to pay for repairs if you’re not the original owner. My understanding is repair work is very reasonably priced, but full coverage warranty work is with proof of purchase only.

Still worth it. I’d buy used BD any day. Worst case, it needs a repair down the road and it costs you a little? I say if you can buy used for 1/2 price or better, you’re good. It’s the “deals” on MP for brand new lights that a guy can’t use and he wants to sell for 80-90% that could stink if something dies on it.

I concur with all of this.

The BD enthusiast has much deeper pockets than your typical HF junkie. Everything has a fanboy(s).

Thank you Bill for helping with the repair process.
For whoever wants to know, my squadron pro pods have had rounded bolts and I was not able to get them out of the housing no matter what extraction method/tools I tried.
Baja Design's lifetime warranty is no joke, they replaced literally everything but the chips on my sqaudron pods with no cost to me, I appreciate them very much!
