    Picked up a 2015 4x4 Crewmax not long ago, it’s at 69k and I doubt the diff fluid was ever touched. This is my first time doing a diff fluid change. Wondering how normal this looks?

    Not too bad. It probably hasn't been changed in 70k but hard to say. I'd say you are all good.

    Very normal if it's never been done. My first one I did came out with a nice piece of metal on it

    What the others have said. If you search the pages here you will see that, myself included, when we did a break-in change at 5K-15K the same crap was on the plug. You will never see that much again unless an explosion happened. Also, don't wait another 69K.

    That’s reassuring. I bought the truck at 68k but it’ll be maintained properly now.
