I call absolute bullshit on this. I've had a jalapeno beer before, and while it got better after the first few sips, it wasn't enjoyable and I am struggling to understand why one would even consider this worthy of a purchase/try. It actually ruined every beer afterwards that evening because any burp or deep breath and there it was again. No bueno.

We got our first thunderstorm of the warm weather season this morning. And temps are dropping by 20* today as a result. But! It's a sign that winter is def behind us, finally. Peepers are singing loud at night, too. Love transition seasons and having the windows open at night for about 2 weeks before the AC is one. lol

 

That weather forecast makes me jealous. We had amazing weather this weekend and yesterday, now a cold spell (low 50's) and then it'll be back to the low 70s next week. I'll take it all, though. The sun is strong and the winter chill is gone.

 

It was given to me. I'm not into any type of flavored beer at all. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes. Doesn't make it BS just because you didn't care for it.

It was a bit different. I new tenant below me is into all kinds of flavored beer. I find most of them to not my liking at all.

 

Wow, I just had a response written talking about how I'm a traditionalist and don't like flavored beers, either. Then I realized I love a good pumpkin beer (NOT Shipyard) in the fall, and how New England has my two most favorite blueberry ales (amazing in a Black & Blue). I also don't mind a single peanut butter stout every once in a while (only on tap). So, I guess I DO like flavored beer after all? None of these are exotic, so maybe I'm just simple.

 

Yeah, gotta adapt to the environment. I’ll double the duration of my commute if I work until 5pm. My natural sleep cycle would prefer a 7am wake-up and working at 8am…but not gonna happen here

 

It was right at freezing here this morning. Had frost on the roof and grass. I'm done with those temps its almost May.

Now that El Nino has died, we have settled into a nice week of mild temps and rain. A normal Spring for this side of the mountains.
