This noise recently started on my 2010 Tundra. I replaced the belt, tensioner and idler pulley to get that chirping sound to stop and now this whistling / vacuum gasket type sound started. Any ideas what it could be? It seems to go away after about 10 mins after starting. It doesn’t seem to be coming from the belt or any pulleys.

I just fixed a vacuum leak on my 2013 tundra. It was coming from the throttle body. I never noticed it until I took the loud pipes off and went back to stock exhaust, but it made my truck run like complete crap. It would die at stop signs, go into limp mode, and it made 2 pages worth of check engine codes come on. It was a pretty cheap and easy fix. Now it runs great. My first thoughts where it was coming from between the throttle body and the air filter. Maybe check there if it’s not the throttle body.

Finally got around to taking off the throttle body and cleaning it with some throttle body cleaning and it did wonders. The weird whistle noise seems to have gone away completely and the truck idles much better now. Thank for the tip @rickyistre
