When I'm rolling, in gear or not, I'm hearing a squeek squeek sqeek coming from the driver's side. My wife thinks she hears the rear wheel, I think maybe? the front wheel.

It gets faster or slower depending on speed. Curves or inertia doesn't seem to affect it, but touching the brake pedal even a little bit will almost completely silence it.

I've already removed the front brake pads and coated them and the caliper with quieting compound. No change.

Stuck caliper? Wheel bearing? Does it ring a bell with anyone?

How do I track it down?

Brake or wheel bearing could certainly do that. If your wheel weights are clip on vs adhesive, check those. They can squeak, chirp if they are loose.

Based on your description however and that issue quiets with brake, look at the brakes again and lube those caliper pins and components, front and rear.

Definitely check your wheel bearings. Do you notice any difference with changing terrain? Any change when going over speed bumps or is it all the same? If so, your suspension bushings might be squeaking and quieting down when braking and force is applied to the suspension components. Bit of a long shot, but you never know.

Don't overlook the possibility of a drive shaft U-joint. They can squeak if they are worn out or dry.
