Ordered some shocks from @AccuTune Offroad today. My prior experience with them has always been industry leading.

Figured I would support our site vendors that are trusted and provide a special service to us all.

Yesterday I got actual axle weights to get the tuning dialed in. With the roads in Colorado, at times I'm wondering if I should have purchased a trophy truck instead.

I'll update this when I get the shocks on.

Pricing was within a couple hundred dollars of competitors without any custom tuning or service. Pretty good value if you ask me.

Well unfortunately Accutune doesn't have any custom tuning for my 1 ton, so I canceled my order with them. I will continue to used them for supplies or future other needs. They were honest and had very good communication throughout this process.

I had ordered the same shocks through Shock Surplus but wanted to use Accutune due to how several of my friends vehicles performed.

I will probably only keep my truck another two years. We usually keep vehicles 10 years regardless of mileage so not sure I want to spend much more than 1400.00 on shocks. Now if I knew for a fact that we could use them on my next truck...different story. I'm not brand loyal for the most part. Best truck wins.

Now I might be able to be talked into a truck that works like this:

Wouldn't mind some Fox 2.5's either.

As stated earlier, the roads here suck. We have a lot of settling in the highways that cause dips and test out your suspesion to the max, and then we have plenty of other issues like potholes aka craters that can lose a smart car in.

I wouldn't mind some Bilstein 5160's again, but these are right up with other shocks price wise. Right now one can get a 150.00 rebate, but still over 800.00.

Now I could roll with some Fox 2.5's with some high/low speed adjustability.
