    Have a 2007 Tundra, 2WD 5.7L V8. I think I may have a slow parasitic current draw which I'm trying to find.
There is a small light below the steering wheel directly between the computer plug and the tire pressure reset button. The light is always on. I can't find that light described anywhere in the owner's manual, but there is obviously a recess and hole in the lower dash assembly for the light.
Does anyone know what that light is? How to turn it off?

That is the footwell light. It is a #74 bulb. It comes on when the door is open. Turn your cargo/door switch off and see if it turns off.

    Thanks.
I didn't wait long enough to see that the timer shuts that light off. And the footwell light comes on anytime the door opens, even if the cargo and door light switches are set to off.
I guess the draw is somewhere else, looks like I'll need to start pulling fuses to isolate which circuit.

    How old is the battery?

About 4 years. NAPA 7527f. I've had to jump start the truck several times after it sat for a while.
This time the battery was pretty dead, I think it read about 6 volts when I tested it. I charged it back up to 12.7 volts and it started up just fine. It's been sitting for 3 days now and the voltage dropped to 12.6 in that time.

I have a tester that reads up to 100mA DC, and checking in series on the negative side pegs the meter hard at 100mA, so I think there's probably a draw somewhere. I ordered a better tester, when it gets here I can try to figure out which circuit has the draw.

We use the Tundra to haul a trailer, the rest of the time it mostly sits. So we haven't done the battery any favors. It might just be too old to hold charge for very long, but then there shouldn't be that draw on the ammeter.
