How to wire DRL(turn signal) to use same voltage as parking lights?

    Hello,

I have a 2010 Sequoia platinum. I recently changed all my turn signals with LASFIT LED bulbs with built in resistors.

Sometimes my DRLs would flicker and turn signals would hyperflash. Not always, but seemed like the longer the vehicle was on, it would get to this state. (DRLs not dimmed)

I eventually ended up de-pinning the grey wire in my flasher module to disable the DRLs to get rid of the hyperflash.

I noticed when the parking lights were on(dimmed state) it would never get into the state of flickering.

Going to do a retrofit soon and I actually want my DRLs back but I want them to be in the same dimmed state as when the parking lights are on.

One thought was to tap into the parking light wire (I believe this wire reads lower voltage ~8v to get the dimmed state?) and feed the voltage into the grey wire going into the flasher module but not sure if that would work since I think the parking light wire is only hot when the parking lights are turned on.

    Any ideas?
