Rack or inner tie rod 04 tundra DC SR5 V8 RWD

    250K on Early 2004 tundra DC 4.7 v8, SR5, RWD, A/T, LSD, w/ABS,TOW, OFF ROAD, ZERO RUST FRAME, BILSTIEN 5100, AAL, 17" 265/70
    Backup camera, camper shell, double din stereo, amp, sub, blind spot cameras, modest lift, newer Tacoma rims, large AT tires, interior lighting upgrades, in bed, under hood, as well as leds in cab, blue foot well strips (night driving)or bright white strips if need to see, 3 additional white leds on ceiling front L/ R and center, toggle switch's and added accessory fuse box.
    Rack or inner tie rod how to tell? Seals? Lines?–

    I think my power steering lines are what's leaking. No actual problems with steering, noise, whining, but the boot on the passenger side inner T.R. is ripped and was full of fluid. Dumped it out checked it a week later and a little fluid came out transmission and oil, dirt, grease, maybe mixed in but very little cant quite tell how much res has dropped (it's a little crooked and I can't remember which angle I looked at. What would be going on if fluids made it way past the seal in rack

    The typical rack failure. Mine leaks a little. I’m not changing it unless it gets worse. Ives owned older high mileage cars before. Sometimes you just gotta keep a bottle of whatever leaks handy for topping it off.

    Yeah I almost ordered a rack but didn't know if it was for a double cab. I think the o rings on the lines is the problem. Need to jack it up but it started raining
