What exhaust is everyone running on their Tundras? I'd love to see everyone's setups and to hear why you prefer what you do.

For example, I prefer my exhaust cut at the rear axle to avoid hitting the bed on trails. :p

I'm running a Dirty Deeds 21" Keith built me specifically for towing. Sounds great unloaded and still very tame while towing 8k lbs.

Truck came with dual Flowmaster Outlaws (10.5") routed to side exit behind the tires. I just chopped them in front of the axle and bolted on some cheap tips for now...

That SPD system is on the short list of mods right now

Love how that equal length piping looks. How's the sound? Loud or not too bad?

8” BAMuffler, TRD airflow accelerator, front window tint/windshield sun stripe, debadged tailgate 4x4 emblem, trimmed mud flaps, antenna removed stainless screw added, TRD rear sway bar, AFE high flow air filter.
I have the DD 8” bolt on exhaust with the lame single exhaust outlet. I hate the single outlet, wish I could get a dual set up and one before the rear tire out the side like the old gasser lightning trucks. It sounds good & adds wheel power but looks boring. I did add the Toyota black tip.

Currently @dirtydeeds 10" BAM with his Helmotz resonator.
    I've had his 8, 10, and 12 inch BAMs.
Since I don't tow, the 10 with the rez is the sweet spot.
    Minimal drone, less than stock..

He has cut-off versions and he is a forum vendor.
He can make whatever you need.
Give Keith a call, he is great to deal with..

Standard Exhaust System - Dirty Deeds Industries

    Toyota Tundra (dirtydeedsindustries.com)

It isn't as pretty as others, but I didn't buy it for it's looks..
Direct bolt on to OEM pipes, need to drill a hole for the resonator.
Some don't use the rez at all.

Painted my tip black when I installed the black bumper covers.

What's your guys' opinion on dumps? Pre axle or above the axle.

If you dump before the axle you lose low end torque. Doesn’t stillen already make an exhaust for a tundra?

We do! Just finishing up development and we're offering a dump and standard option. I like to see what other members are running just for personal knowledge.

I bet this setup roars :benchpress: Do you have an intake also or did you stay stock in the engine bay? Guess I could check your build sheet... haha

    I'm just doing an SABM.

Here is a great clip of a Tundra with the same setup I have.

Dumped will lose a massive amount of low end torque. This makes 6th gear just about useless unless driving downhill.

Fuel delete mod Cup holder upgrade
Was running the stock single out.
Now running the Stainless Works 4 in 1 LTHs w/High Flow Cats and a modified Stainless Works Redline Catback. Replaced the segment after the X pipe with their version of a glass pack/resonator.
Nice deep sound but fairly quiet in the cab. Roars when you floor it. No rasp.

I started with Doug thorley LTHs then I built myself a dual 2.5" with new magnaflow cats and an x-pipe to a flowmaster super 44 to a single 3" tail pipe. Sounds wicked. Maybe a touch too loud at times and a fair bit of drone at highway speeds.

Same cat back but with factory main cats and high flow secondary cats. Sounds great, no drone, and gained a solid 1.5mpg on the highway but no change in city. Way better setup than the no secondary, x pipe, Borla pro xs in all factory size and exit that I had. No noticeable loss of torque and 6th gear is very functional for me. Today is first day towing my rzr so curious to see how it runs but I’m not worried or concerned.

98 miles towing in s5. ~3200lbs. Just set the cruise at 70 and let her run and zero issues.
