I'm in the market for a Transfer Flow 46 gallon fuel tank, but I've encountered a new policy issue. Transfer Flow has started requiring a photo of the emissions sticker under the hood before they will sell a tank, specifically to avoid sales to Tundra trucks that are Flex Fuel. This is because using E85 fuel in the tank can corrode the internal components over time.

The problem is, my Tundra is a Flex Fuel model. However, I’ve never used E85 nor do I plan to. Transfer Flow themselves have stated that their tanks are compatible with Flex Fuel trucks, provided that E85 isn't used.

Fortunately, the emissions sticker under the hood doesn’t link to your VIN number. Would anyone be willing to help me out by sharing a photo of their non flex fuel emissions sticker? This would help me circumvent what I believe is an unnecessary restriction from Transfer Flow. Thank you!

It would be pretty inexpensive for Transfer Flow to use compatible internal hoses and parts. That's not a wise move on their part.

The sticker is like $1 - why not just buy one worst case ?

I had not thought of that, thank you for that. I could do that, or someone could just post of photo on this thread and help other folks in the future...

This is a strange thing on their part! I would help you out, but I am also running flex fuel. Good luck and let us know how you circumvent it and how the process goes please.

Did you google this? I found both by simply searching "Toyota Tundra Emissions Sticker"

I did Goog it, but not good enough I guess... I did find this, which I believe will work since it says gasoline only. my truck says gasoline/ethenol.

I don't see why that wouldn't work. I found a bunch of them when I searched. Good luck! The larger tank will but really nice to have.
