Found on FB. Yikes. Might be in limits empty, but a solid burrito, I’d be over weight.

At the end of last week I saw a Tundra towing what looked like a 35' fifth wheel (for reference I towed a 33.5' toy hauler for years with my old 2500HD, so have a decent idea on judging RV size). It wasn't one of those lightweight/low height front bedroom fifth wheels, but a full size/full height luxury RV I usually only see behind 3/4 or one ton trucks. Honestly wanted to turn around for a closer look but had someplace to be.

It's not so much the power situation for me, it would be the stopping situation.

I don't think Hideout's are that heavy. My neighbor at the other house pulls one with a damn Honda mini van!!!
That Cougar is too much for that 2nd gen. Toy hauler in pic had gas station on board and this 2008 pulled it easily and it was a heavy pig.IMG_1004.jpg

I can really get pushed around just pulling my 26 footer on a windy day, I can't imagine how tossed around I'd be towing a huge wind sail like that.

Unfortunately, yes. Things like passing trucks don't upset it at all, but last summer we were coming back home on the eastern slopes of the Cascades and there was an absolutely brutal side wind. It wasn't too stressful, but it was constantly tugging at the wheel which grew quite tiresome. Only time I've had that issue.

And yes, I use a WDH with sway control. Keeps us nice and steady but the wind that day was crazy. Dropped me down from 9 mpg to 5 mpg on that stretch.

Crazy thing is, an aluminum body F150 weighing 4500 lbs would be within all numbers for that giant sail of a trailer. I would think that thing would bully a 6k lb Tundra less.
