2014 does this year of tundra has the vin number printed in the frame chasis
hi does any one can tell me if the 2014 tundra has the vin number on the chasis

i bought one tundra in Texas and i export it to south America and while doing inspection in my country the person doing the inspection told me that the chasis should have the vin number imprinted on the chasis
also told me that the serial number on the engine should correlate with the vin number as well first time that ear this
i will really appreciated any comments

 

Welcome. There should be a VIN number on the driver side of the dash right at the bottom of the windshield. Another one on the driver side door jam.

Also found this while googling on another tundra forum page "A common location is on top of the frame rail, below the driver's door... will likely require some cleaning, and either a mirror, cell phone camera, or an inspection camera."

 

Well... now I hafta go look.

 

I don't see it. If it is on top of the frame, I can't tell because I have a cat shield, and so I cannot get my phone up there to take a picture.
