    Also, I'm guessing that to get the fluid out of the booster is just stick that hose in the booster and use that pump to pump it out?

    Yep, it could. Given I wouldn't want to use my shopvac or anything for caustic fluids, that handheld would do the job fine. Pistol grip would make it a lot easier than the hand sump I've got.

    I had one of those HF pumps. It was junk the collection jar wouldn't seal so it couldn't pull a vacuum.

    That's what I use it for -- a fluid extractor (brake fluid, power steering fluid, etc.) Or to pull a vacuum on a line to see if it holds. I've had my MityVac for about 20 years. It's super handy... I just don't like it for bleeding brakes. It's just very inefficient compared to pressure bleeding.
