Well, what was supposed to be an easy swap at 10am today, porting the only cell# I've ever had away from AT&T Business account onto T-Mobile personal account, was me sitting inside a T-Mobile store for almost 3.25 hours. After giving them account numbers, account manager PINs, every piece of data and PIN code imaginable. "We don't use transfer PINs anymore, there's no lock PIN, try 000000 (which works for prepaid numbers often), try the manager PIN code, wait we need to change your manager PIN code (the hell you do!). Finally got it sorted after our 6th call to representative from the AT&T side finally knew wtf they were talking about and said, "Oh - you just need to use the 5-digit billing PIN code for the corp account, hold on, lemme get that for you!".

Ding ding ding. After 3 hours of pain and suffering, 6 seconds later the number finally ported. I am not saying this lightly: I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, EVER use another AT&T product as long as I live. They are as incompetent and idiotic as it gets. I don't care if it's for internet, telephony, data, whatever. If I can help it, I'll never use their products again. Our guys have been dealing with this nonsense for all 9 years the company had been on AT&T wireless for business. Every person that's transferred out. Some people have taken upwards of 2 weeks to finally get someone that understands how to port. The fact it was this easy, and nobody said anything in that 10 years that you can use the billing PIN on the corporate account to release a number is just ... FML. Big fail.

My favorite was when we called 6-1-1 with our head IT manager for the region, and some woman picked up the phone with a screaming baby in the background, promptly put us on hold without saying anything. FOR 22 MINUTES OF SILENCE. She never picked up the phone again. I'm sure she was milking it, and probably does that to multiple customers a day, and gets away with it because there's no way to complain, and it looks like she was working and helping someone for 22 minutes.

My wife's company is preparing to move away from AT&T right now also. And for good reason. THEY SUCK ASS.

Kinda glad @Burgmane never reached out to try and meet up with his buddy. Not only would I not have seen the message, but I'd have also been stuck. Rolled up there with my wife. She had to leave 90 minutes in to go to work. I ended up having to Lyft home.

FUCK YOU AT&T. (And good riddance)

I hope someone using Google search that's trying to transfer/port their phone number away from AT&T business finds this at a later date and it helps them solve their dilemma, since AT&T is such hot garbage.

This exact thing happened to us just last week. My wife has always had at&t. I ported into her account when we married (no pun intended). We just left and switched to verizon. I had no issues as my number was not an original at&t number. Hers took 2 weeks of phone calls and about 2 hours in a store.

It's utter and complete bullshit. And the crazy part is, my number is originally a T-Mo number. It's the first and only number I've ever had, and I got it thru T-Mo (work phone). I kept the number when work moved to Verizon. Then again when they moved to AT&T. We pretty much go through this every time with AT&T. They offer no level of business technical support (you'd think "big paying customers" == "your first call always hits a tier2+ staffer", but nooooooo they're all a bunch of entry level script readers!). Someone had the nerve to tell us to call 611 for support, which is general support who, sadly, couldn't help us. It's pretty much a case of "Call ... and if they can't solve your problem, hang up and call again ... rinse/repeat until someone is smart enough to know how to handle the issue."

Problem is, none of them know how to handle it, and the ppl in the store are at the mercy of the people doing phone support.

I've gotta do my fronts. Hope I never. Ever. Ever have to do the rears. Both are brutal by description compared to other vehicles I've done.

I'm with you. I was kind of meh about it, but once I saw it, it really blew me away. We were on lunch break at work so I was just sitting in the back of the tundra. Wife and kids came by which was really fun. I'll remember that forever.

I don't know, It's a pretty sweet evolution of the 4R to me. Looks like the Gen 4 runner, but in a storm trooper costume.

Cars have an evolution where they shift from a curvy design to a blocky design and back and forth every few decades. We’re in the blocky design right now. Give it 10-15 years and the 2040 Tundra will have a lot of our trucks body lines incorporated into it.

gross..... the rear side door looks smaller than a 3rd gen. Heck probably smaller than 2nd gen.
    t.me/4th and 5th gen owner.
    Definitely not for me.....

the 5th gen TRD Sport with a set of NightShade wheels and wider tires is my current fav vehicle on the road. (best looking OEM offering IMO)

Toyota will sell a ton of new 4Runners. It's impossible to please everyone but it will be another hit. I'll be honest, I've liked every generation of 4Runner. This latest one looks mean.

Unrelated but has anyone noticed the new Frontier? I've seen a few lately that look really good.

I feel like that's standard pricing for most new vehicles now sadly. Especially anything with 4 wheel drive.

4Runners really have done a decent job of looking good through the generations. This one is a little too moon rover for me just like the new tundras, but it’s alright. I just want somebody to rerelease a square body Chevy. Can’t beat that truck body style. I had a RCSB 1986 on 33’s. It was so badass.

I have noticed the frontiers. And I’m with you. I honestly really like a well done titan also.
