I'm also 6' with 34" inseam. I installed a stack of washers right after I bought the truck. I bought two sets of Seat Jackers, one set for both sides.

They are a game changer for me on the driver's side. My 5'3" wife didn't like them on the passenger side because her feet couldn't touch the floor so her legs went to sleep.

I sold the second set to a fellow member, @1lowlife, who reported back that he also liked them.

With all these rave reviews I'm starting to think I'm sitting in my truck wrong, something I didn't think was possible...

I tried messing with my seat adjustment and some washers.

I can't get it so that I can reach both pedals comfortably when I've got my seat up in the front and down in the back. I can have the gas or the brake be comfortable but not both. Is there something I'm missing or are seat jackers not for me?

Its a solid mount. Yes, but look at the thickness of the seat mounting arm. Thin, not grade 10 metal.

anyway it does the job and will put a rubber circular mount around the spacer and grade 10 bolt.
And really, the Limited seats are not very comfortable all around but this helps. F150 seats are much more comfortable. I need to try a new Tundra seat for comparo out of interest.

How are you liking the raised seat? Where did you get your parts and what size spacer did you use?

If you are going to throw some on, I'd recommend Desert Does It... They are a small operation out of Vegas w/good customer service and have been around for a while. IIRC they are veteran owned (if that matters to you), and I'm pretty sure if you sign up for emails you'll get a discount code to use (they don't spam the shit out of your inbox just email w/new items coming out and sales they are having).

I just installed the desert does it jackers this morning, and WOW. I only went on a 30 minute test drive, and I don't want to be hyperbolic, but I think I just bought a brand new truck for 80 dollars.

Completely different feel driving. The positioning, the view, the seat actually holding me in! It was immediately noticeable and I love it. Excited to see how it does on a couple hour drive.

Also, when I ordered, they shipped quickly, but then it went to never, never land in USPS. I emailed support, acknowledging they aren't responsible and Deric from there, almost immediately replied and sent a request in for USPS about where it was. It magically showed up less than 48 hours later. Sure 80 bucks for some metal blocks is a lot, and I felt that when I bought them. But the difference it makes, and the company here to answer questions and help their customer, that's worth it to me.

    I am 6-0/6'1, athletic build and 185lbs.

I'm 5'9" and have a 30" inseam and I raised the front of my drivers seat and love it. I think the lift I built was even higher than the commercial ones but don't remember the height off hand.

    Cheers

Does anyone know if there is a 1/2" seat jacker out there? I find the 1" to be a bit too much.

I wonder if you just cut it in half with a metal blade, might take some new screw sizes after that though? There are also a couple folks on here who made their own.

    Good luck!

Only thing that helped me with my herniated disc was to get the surgery done. Good luck.
