    Is anyone familiar with the Toyota dash cam does your apple car play have to be off in order for the dash cam to work does it automatically connect when you start your vehicle.

    The Toyota supplied Dash Cam requires you to have the vehicle running and setting your WiFi connection to the one the vehicle generates. You then go to the Toyota Dash Cam app you install from the Apple store, and it when you open it, it will show you the most current to oldest clips captured by the dashcam. Pretty easy to use. The Lexus app in the Apple store also works with the Toyota Dash Cam.
