So I've always been a bit underwhelmed by the brakes on the 3rd gen tundra. I know it's a big heavy vehicle and the brakes work but I feel like more bite and more consistency in the brakes would be nice. Maybe it's a setting with the transmission for engine braking too but anyone improve the brakes feel by swapping pads or something like that?

I agree with you, wish they had a little bit more bite.
I see some online shops like (SDHQ, YotaGarage) offer EBC yellowstuff aftermarket pads which are know to be better but I havent seen/heard of a 2022 with them.
