I bought my 2024 Tundra in November 2023, in Tx, there was really no reason to adjust the climate control temperature. It was unseasonably warm for Thanksgiving. Temp was on LO on both sides, fan on HI, blowing in my face. I started to get cold so I adjusted my side up to 70 but didn't touch the Fan Speed. The temp warmed and the airflow lowered on my side but the fan did not lower its speed. The airflow got more intense the lower I set the temperature. All the while, on the passenger side still set on LO, was still blowing out the vents on HI.

I went to a different dealership one day, asked the salesperson if he can get the keys and let me look at a Tundra with Dual Climate Control. After the truck came to normal operating temp, it did the same thing- the salesperson didn't know anything about it!!

I took my Tundra back to the dealer, the sales mgr and the person that sold me the truck didnt know anything about it, either. We took it back to service where service said, "Oh yeah, thats Toyotas new Smart Climate Control system called Continuous Variable Climate Control.

The thing is, I dont mind 70 degree air blowing on me on HI. I live in Tx. Even in the summer, after a while of ice cubes blowing on me on HI, I like to turn the temp up to 70, on HI without the airflow automatically lowering itself while the Fan is still blowing on HI. Now I have an AC system that makes tons of noise while not blowing hardly any air until I put the temp back on LO. Is there anyone else that has noticed this BS?

I like how you can have a choice of the type of cruise control you can use- RADAR controlled or OLD SCHOOL. I hate RADAR controlled. I wish the AC system was the same- NEW BS or OLD SCHOOL dual climate.

yes, I have turned that off as thats the only setting in the climate settings. No change.

I have done some searches but if this has been discussed, what should I be searching for?

    Nitrogen filled tires!
Roll the windows down and drive or buy a Ford - in which case roll the windows down and drive. GL and do your homework because this is not the truck of the past. Welcome. If you have a Tundra Gen3 you smell sugar and not molasses.
