Hello. I was hoping someone could help answer a few questions. I have a 2024 1794 Tundra. When using the onboard navigation system the orientation is the direction the vehicle is traveling, facing up. I prefer for north to be facing up. I know I can change this manually but when I restart the vehicle it defaults back to the direction of travel facing up. In other vehicles I have owned I could change the default for start up. Is there a way to do this with my current vehicle?

Also for the wireless charging pad. Is there a way to turn this on and off so it is not consistently on. The phone gets very warm when charging.

I have read the manuals and unless I am missing something I cannot find any info about these two topics. Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the responses. The new onboard system is different than before. I am just learning from a 23 Venza we have, that after 1 year you may have to pay a subscription for the on board navigation system to remain active? I know I can use apple car play for compatible map applications through the phone, but no on board nav without a subscription? Wow times are changing.

In my 24' Limited, there is a groove by the charging pad that looks like it would hold a pen. I've found that it is perfect or setting the bottom of my phone to keep the wireless charging from engaging. Solves the heat problem for me.
