Bought a set of rock warrior wheels for a good price and had them powder coated. Rims were done in prismatic powder highland bronze. Bead lock was done with black 10% gloss. Tires are Maxxis razr AT 35x11.5r17. I’m very happy with how they turned out!

Thanks, I was torn about coating them but I’m happy I did. The guy who powder coated them said after they were stripped and bare metal they are one of the best looking rims he has seen. He didn’t believe me that they were truly forged but after seeing them stripped he was very impressed. He said he wanted to just shoot a clear coat on them to show how nice they are. Bummed he didn’t take any pics of them stripped!

If you don't mind me asking, what is the price range and turnaround time on a job like that? Wheels look awesome. Thanks

800 and 3 weeks. Other shops quoted less and quicker but this guy seemed most legit. I think the cheapest was like 600 from another shop

Got my center caps today. Not sure if I like the red TRD logo.. would look better in bronze color or just all black maybe.
    Ordered off of eBay https://www.ebay.com/itm/256413178700
They popped right in, fit and finish seems very good, well see how they hold up over time. Ordered on Thursday and had them to my door on Monday so pretty good shipping time. IMG_1342.jpg IMG_1341.jpgIMG_1340.jpg

I agree the Red TRD kinda kills the look and effort you put into the wheels....

Would probably look much nicer w/the Heritage center caps, but you'd have to verify if they fit your wheels.

Edit: Yeah, looking at it, they look way different than the ones for you RW wheels... my bad!!

Well if anyone really likes them I’d sell them for less than what I paid. I don’t think I like how the red looks.

The wheels look beautiful. I also like the center caps but don't think are the best color choice for the bronze even with the black lock ring.

Edit: I'd create some ai images in Google of different colors and then repaint/powder coat the current center caps once I had my colors situated.

After closer inspection of the center caps, I'm not so sold on them. And if you go bronze would it match your bronze powder coat wheel enough? Or would it be a different tone? Tough call here, but maybe a custom sticker made to fit the center caps might be the best solution.

If they are 3d printed, you should be able to paint them. If they fit your wheel well, and the quality feels good. I'd vote you paint them, layer of black to cover the red and then make a stencil and spray with bronze. Let it dry and then hit it with a clear. Snap it back on the wheel and love the look.

Looks nice. Way better with just a simple 2 color concept.

    Those look fantastic!

On another note, I am running the same maxxis tires and am loving them so far. Quiet, great handling, not too stiff, and have done well in the snow slick. Been a toyo guy for decades, but these popped up for $300 for the set of 4 on Walmart's site on Christmas (glitch), so had to give them a shot!

I picked these tires up for 700 from a guy who had multiple brand new sets in his garage. Apparently they are great for trophy truck racing. I don’t have many miles but they do seem like awesome tires, look good, quiet and handle well - tire guy said they balanced nicely. My only issue with them is for the whole tread to make contact I had to drop pressure to like 30-35 front and less in the rear.. I can’t really find too much info on them which sucks. They also have 55k mile tread warranty which for a tire this aggressive seems good to me

Now I know where to get replacements for my faded RW center caps, thanks.
