Pucks? Lol. He's deep down the rear axle rabbithole now. Apparently you can get axle housings & center sections new from toyota. But they're big money. Not quite rockwell money, but moser or strange bits for sure.

 

Yeah - I got a 30 day ban couple years ago and not sure why. The ban page say it was political. Probably lamenting the cost and availability of parts vs prepandemic but who knows as they also delete the “offending post.”

 

I tried just for shits to get that to work and haven't had any luck with the coupon or I just don't actually know where to put the code in. I tried it in the gift card/promo code section with no luck.

 

Did a little remote surgery last night. My remote quit working out of the blue so I figured it was just the usual battery change but it seems that the pin that contacts the board for the positive side had just worn so it wasn't making good contact. Pulled the one out of my trashed OEM remote and seems to be working now. Haven't had a remote the past few weeks and it was driving me crazy.
It may only have 6 feet of range but it sure is nice.

Nope. Someone can complain, but it has to be an offense within the confines of the code of conduct to get a ban. Usually if it’s remotely questionable, it’ll just get removed after a complaint, and if it could go either way, you may also get a private message. I’ve gotten the latter once or twice.

This has been my suspicion, along with others, it’s not a regular, and likely not a 1st-gen’er. At least one suspicion is supported by the fact that two we’ve recently seen happen were both (IIRC) were for posts that were days, maybe even weeks old. If it was a regular, it would’ve been reported and dealt with fast enough a lot of people wouldn’t have seen it.

Either way, if you ever have questions about a ban, reach out to a moderator. If you want a good idea of which one to contact, ping whichever one posts the ban in the BST thread. They’re not gonna tell you details about who reported, but they may be able to fill in some blanks.

 

If i see someone get a little loose with their post i'll PM & warn em, hope they pull it down before it gets caught by the algorithm. But you should be able to know who the accuser is, so we can heckle them without breaking the rules.

So can somebody explain to me why these Switchback clear to Amber LED blinker lights will not work in the housing? They fit they just act as if a bulb is out though they won't turn on running lights blinkers four ways nothing.
