14 inch screen issue

Anyone notice gray bars going up and down the screen if you look close? You can really see it when your in CarPlay on the app bar on the left. But if you go to setting and look close you can see it. Has to be in dark mode. Very weird

 

Mine does the same thing.

 

Lines thought out my navigation too but unfortunately it won’t let me post a video. Probably going to have to bring it to the dealer

 

Interesting. I've got the same 3 lines in the same spot. The screen still works fine and it's not visible with other colors and backgrounds, so I assume this has more to do with the background resolution on the Toyota home screen. You'd have to know it's there to notice.

 

I am not looking otherwise I will see it forever LOL

 

If you use CarPlay, you won’t see it because it’s not there. It’s only seen on any of the integrated Toyota screens. Hence why I don’t think it’s an issue with the screen, but rather the background color/image.

 

OH YES... My 23 came with it like that from factory dealer replaced my screen 2 times. Issue is still there. It doesn't get better. My honest advice is just live with it once the dealer replaces the screen you will have all kinds of issues with your Toyota App connectivity you will lose your trial subscriptions. You will lose satellite connection that's needed for OTA updates so now you will be stuck updating the firmware thru USB like I do. I tried going through TBE but since my trial already expired it doesn't make sense to link it to Toyota again. To blend the lines either use light mode or adjust your contrast thru the settings. Thanks Toyota.

Also it's not just the lines. There are more artifacts in the lower area kinda looks like a carplay logo on mine all 3 of my screens looked liked this with a little bit of color variance.
