I remember trippin' out watching a rope break (Old days when rope was just a rope) riding passenger in my friends disabled truck... electrical gremlin out wheelin'.

His buddy tied off and was pulling us up a little hill and "POP!"

Our short end flopped up on my friend's hood, and the other end shattered the back window of the other truck, probably 30-40' away.

I carry a Factor 55 hitch mount with a 3/4 shackle along with 2 soft shackles and a 20’ kinetic from Rhino USA only because they carry the rope in Blue. Also have a 9500lb smittybuilt winch on the bumper

I too have them but have yet to use them. We used to get over 100" of snow here annually but now we hardly get any snow, so it's anyone's guess if I will ever get to try them out.
