Thanks. Pain has mostly subsided, but I've had a janky spine, top to bottom, for a couple of decades. It's not so bad that I'm on pain management, but I'd like to get back on track in the gym, and I'd like to slide into my 60's with some semblance of health and vitality. Finding out what's what back there, and what I can do about it, is important to the journey.

 

Work on staying in shape in your 50s and 60s, once the 70s arrive it’s like your body has a mission of reminding you of the body not the mind is in control.

I'm half considering taking the family on a Tundra 2 Tundra(ish) trip this summer. We'd go from our home up to Yellowknife, Northwest Territory. It's Tundra(ish) because Yellowknife isn't fully on the arctic tundra but it's pretty close.

I haven't been up there since I was a little kid and The Woman never has been. It's about 13 hours of driving one way if done in a single shot on about 650+ miles of very remote highways. I think I'd break it up into 2 days there, 2 days back and maybe 2 days in Yellowknife for sightseeing.

Gotta do a few small overnight camping trips to break in the gear and get little AK more accustomed to nights in the tent.
