    From what I read, it’s either a bad controller, poor airbag connection or the airbag was set off or has the wrong expected resistance value.

    Supposedly the squib circuit is associated with the fuse embedded within the airbag that blows open when set off.

    Most I could recommend is to open it up and make sure all the connections look solid. There may be a procedure in the FSM to check the resistance of the airbag to make sure it’s an acceptable value.

    Always make sure you disconnect the battery for at least a couple minutes from working on the airbag and keep yourself grounded to make sure static electricity can’t set it off.
