Men do generally have a weaker immune system so the same bug going around will actually hit men harder than women. They're built to endure it better, hands down.

That's happening everywhere right now; at this point it is just a bill... doesn't mean it will get passed and if it gets passed still doesn't mean it would withstand legal challenge.

OR had a bill that was passed during last cycle to limit mag capacity and such; the voters passed it (thank you multnomah county), but as the tried to move forward w/implementation our state courts shot it down citing that it was a violation of our constitution. The funny thing about the weirdness here in OR is that (so far) when it comes to the nuts and bolts of the constitution and such our courts have voted in favor of honor what's already on paper.

I watch movies/sports for entertainment, not to hear the political statements or 'values' or 'views' that someone has...

Unfortunately, at this point, if you shut out every actor, director, channel, studio, etc. you'll be sitting on your living room floor staring at a blank wall. I can still watch someone's art/craft and absolutely not GAF about their views or have it influence the movie; now on the other hand if the show/movie/sport itself is trying to make a statement, I'll turn it off.

 

I agree with your overall premise that in the real world you should enjoy the show and disregard the views of the actors involved. On the other hand, some actors are such vile douchebags that revel in their own over the top politics, its not hard to hate them and not indulge in wanting to watch them.

 

I can agree w/this... Lebron James fits this model for me

 

When it comes to music, if I refused to listen to individuals or groups that didn't share my political beliefs, I'd have a pretty short playlist..
