Audio question?

New to actually using the forum, sorry if this is the wrong location for this thread.


I just purchased a 2020 sr5 nothing fancy, door speakers have already been replaced. I am purchasing a 6 channel amp to run the doors and a 2 subwoofers. The question is the front doors are playing bass only from the factory amp. (Non jbl). Has anyone added an amp to the door speakers? I want the front doors to play full range, if I use rears for input to the amp will I lose phone call audio since it currently comes through the front?

 

Welcome...I have a 2016, non JBL system, factory Entune head unit.. Replaced door speakers, dash tweeters, added a Kicker Amp with EQ/Processor, powered Bazooka sub. I'd recommend a processor EQ of some sort as the sound from the head unit is mediocre..The factory amps on mine were under the passenger seat.

 

Right I was just wondering is I used input for all doors from the rears only would that loose phone call audio, because it seems the rears don’t have phone audio
