The alarm system is going of every 12 hours (happens around noon and midnight). Just started happening a couple days ago and it is now showing to be consistent at these times. Any ideas of what could be causing it are greatly appreciated. (2012 limited.)

Do you have sunroof? Mine did that when I accidentally left it open for some weird reason.

Nope, no sunroof. And I’ve checked to make sure all windows are up. It’s just so weird to me that it’s almost exactly every 12 hours

No idea, but have you tried to disconnect the battery?

Was going to suggest checking the battery itself. All sorts of gremlins can appear when a battery is bad or nearing end of useful cycle.

Years ago I had same issue with our minivan. Finally found corrosion in the body control module from a leak that happened months before. Something else to check.... Good Luck!

My Celica had an aftermarket system and would do this when the battery started dying, I had a remote that would beep in conjunction with the car alarm, let me tell you that whenever I lost my keys I would kick a tire and set off the alarm on both and it made it easy to find my keys. My mom was so sick of this she disconnected the battery for 6 months, and someone stole my oem speakers... lol... Anyway I would test the battery, not sure about your alarm system, but my oem alarm has never gone off, but I think it's preventing me to turn it on, using it's keys..

agreed. when mine was losing voltage my seat would automatically move forward when i started it trying to pin me against the wheel. Bought a new battery and hasn't happened since.

Putting a new battery in your key fob might help. Fixed an alarm problem for me a few years ago.

+1, when my battery started to go (which wasn't picked up by the battery health checker at AutoZone) it would start fine but the alarm would randomly go off. Since replacing I haven't had that issue anymore.

Also check the battery clamps and make sure they are free of corrosion.
My 2005 had similar issues and there was the thinnest layer of corrosion on the POS post.

A $3 post cleaning brush fixed it..
