Why do I only hear the turbos under certain conditions?

Seems like I only really hear them spooling up nicely at 75% throttle between 2000-3000 RPMs.

Why won’t they make noise all the time?

If I don’t have turbo noise I am never gonna be able to make 2nd Gen guys feel inferior.

You need to get some blowoff valves to make them flutter. Really stick it to the 2nd gen guys!

    ^ Fact.
Stop trying, it only feeds into your 'I want to be noticed by Gen 2 and Gen 2.5 guys' depression..

Perhaps some psychotic meds are in order for you, again..

I thought you were buying a Ford to destroy and void the warranty anyway..

I dislike it when the powerstoke fools have an aftermarket/open turbo. Way to loud for my old ears! Maybe this is an option for euro?
But now the ecobooth can do it too, euro have you been on the Ford forums again? Lol

    Lots of stuff!
There are a few ways to make the turbo whizzing sound more pronounced but these could make your roadster a bit rougher!

    1) Get some high flow air filters like K&N or AFE with those fancy boxes.
    2) Straight pipe from the turbo back (but that will be noisy and scare away the wild boars).
    3) Or you could get an aftermarket exhaust like. Dirty Deeds etc...

Sounds like you need a T51R mod.

That would be a great addition without really doing anything other than opening the windows and cranking this "turbskee" sounds track. I bet the chicks or dudes would be all over that ;)

It’s not for the chicks or the dudes, it’s for @Eurodriver, he’s not trying to impress anyone

Perhaps the whine of the turbo is the same frequency as your tinnitus Jarhead.
    That's why you can't hear it...
