Why is pre-collision giving me the silent treatment?

I just picked up this 2021 a couple months ago. I was just getting used to the PCS beeping at me whenever I got too close to my shrubbery or fence posts or whatever, but now it's not beeping anymore at all, even when I try to make it beep by creeping up to a solid wall, or another (parked!) vehicle.

The sensors are clean of course, and Carista reports no flaws with the PCS. Interestingly, Carista has displayed "failed to check" the front radar sensor, two scans in a row. I don't know if there could possibly be a connection to the sensors in the bumper?

 

Oh, and FWIW, the adaptive cruise control works fine.

 

Ooopsie daisy. Disregard. This is not a PCS thing, it's a parking assist thing. And parking assist was turned off.

I gotta drive this thing more. LOL
