One has to wonder how an almost bulletproof front Diff design may have gotten screwed up? Is there something new in there? Haven’t heard anything about a new design. The transfer case is Hell Built for Stout. The gears and that drive chain are monster in there. Could it be more manufacturing debris? Front diff failures are rare except for rock crawlers. I’m certainly gonna use mine more to see if it can hang. Oil change early too to see what comes out after just a few hundred 4WD miles.

Just got confirmation that my front diff is shot in my 2022 Tundra. For a long time, I could hear a clunking noise when accelerating in four wheel drive. The replacement diff from factory, I assume the factory was majorly damaged in shipping now waiting on a eta for the next one hopefully it shows up unharmed from shipping. I will be very interested in the Point of failure..
