Today, while driving and using the Bluetooth, a loud pop came through the speakers and the whole system and surrounding backlights went out.

I checked the fuses and they are okay. Does this mean the whole system is toast?

    Thanks for your input.

Stock system? A popping sound is what happens when capacitors fail. I am assuming the backlights are the on the head unit. It sounds like a head unit failure

Yes, it’s the stock unit. With only 35000 miles on the track, didn’t think it’d go out so soon.
Well, I’ve ordered a Sony XAV-AX8500 to replace it.
