I have a boat I with surge brakes. So the truck does not see that I am pulling the unit. The problem is while backing the alert goes off then then truck applies brakes on its own. How do i fix this issue. I assume the backup sensors is the issue. I turn them off and it still does the same thing. All of my other camper and dump have electric brakes so there is no issue. Any help would be great. 2023 Tundra

Little button by your left knee, far right of the switch panel, there a button with a car and some cones. Did you turn that off? That seemed to stop that problem for most of us.

It does when I goes through the car wash, However, with this trailer it does not. It just beeps continuously.
