i am doing an upgrade from my 2015 chrome grill to a 2018+sr5, trd sport grill
dealer wants a lot, i dont want to a lot. help a brother out lol

There was an emblem part number change for the sport grille and it had to do with a mounting screw and the tabs on the emblem. If you can post a picture of the emblem mounting location on the back side of your grille I can compare it to the one that I have in the garage. Also, see what the part number is on the back of the grille insert is. You can't buy inserts separately, but that part number should also assist with ID'ing the correct emblem that you need.

I have an emblem from a grill I'm not using anymore. I'm not 100% sure if it's the right one, but I can dig it up this weekend. I'm in Folsom, so not far from you.

 

Dealer wants a lot because that's the one with the cruise control sensor in it. Wonder if anyone makes a dummy plate for these.

Sorry for the delayed response. I’ve had some health issues lately that have required a couple surgeries. The emblem I have is the other one. Not the one you’re looking for.

 

I have one from my 2019 if you are interested. I put a Pro Grille in and no longer need. LMK
