Hello all Tundra owners. I’m a ‘Limited’ man! (At least thst’s what my wife calls me!) LOL

But.. I’m the proud owner of a 2005 Tundra 4.7L dbl cab limited 4x4. 150k on the miles & runs great…so far…no mods. Its ‘as designed.’
The sliding rear window is perfect for my dog as well as hauling longer boards etc. That and the V-8 are the reasons I chose it.

But… the remote start key fob just quit working. It faltered for a few weeks and then died completely. i replaced the key fob batteries (2) 2016s but nothing doing then I went through the step by step to reprogram but nothing doing as well. I want the damn key fob to work.
Is there another fuse someplace I couldn’t find? The book just say dealer…dealer…dealer but all they’d want is for me to upgrade to a 5.7L. Not for me.
    Anybody else have that problem?

Sorting through all the other posts I couldn’t find one just like this.

Pls don’t waste forum time if you don’t have an answer… ie: my chevy blah blah blah or my ford blah blah blah.
    Thanks
    LM

I am pretty sure your remote start system is an aftermarket addon. You will need to chase down its wiring and see what they tapped into to get it installed.

Also as an afterthought. You may get a bit more traction on the problem posting in the 1G forum section. Not everyone follows the new member introductions.
